This project showcases how we approached holiday lighting for a property in Rochester Hills, MI. We focused on clean lines, safe power planning, and a layout that looks great from both the street and the front walk.

Layout and design decisions

We start every project with the architecture: rooflines, peaks, trees, and walkways. For this installation, we:

• Outlined the primary roofline with consistent bulb spacing and color temperature.
• Highlighted key peaks and dormers to give the house shape after dark.
• Used tree wraps and landscape lighting to add depth without overwhelming the yard.

Materials and fixtures

We use commercial‑grade LED strands and hardware on every project. On this property, that meant:

• Cut‑to‑fit C9 roofline strands in a consistent warm‑white or color palette.
• Outdoor‑rated extension cords, timers, and connections kept off the ground.
• Non‑damaging clips for gutters, shingles, and trim instead of nails or staples.
